on Guidelines for Practicing Members |
This booklet provides guidelines and facilitation
to the practicing members of ICMAP in knowing about
the statutory requirements, key practice planning
steps and selection of practice areas, according
to their expertise and available opportunities.
The Booklet provides a comprehensive picture of
various areas where the services of a practicing
member may be of value to the Government, industries,
businesses and the national economy. It would greatly
help the members to plan, start and promote their
consulting practice.
The
Research, Quality Assurance & Ethics Committee
of the Institute has decided to place this booklet
on the website for the information and benefit of

Name Spellings |
ATTENTION STUDENTS
!
It has been observed that most of the students
are not careful while filling in the registration,
exemption, and examination application forms etc
with regard to spelling of their name and their
fathers’ name. Later on students submit their
request for change of name spelling in grade sheets,
admit cards, and certificates. This creates inconsistency
and ambiguity in the Institute’s students database.
Students are hereby informed that as per the policy
and practice of the Institute, name spelling as
recoded in Secondary School Certificate (Matric
Certificate) is used while issuing the grade sheets
and certificates. Therefore, registration, exemption,
and examination applications must contain spelling
of their name, and their fathers’ name as recorded
in the Secondary School Certificate (Matric Certificate).
This will help in maintaining uniformity in name
spellings for all grade sheets, certificates and
other documents issued to them by the Institute.
If their fathers’ name or their name spelling
has not correctly been recorded in the Secondary
School Certificate (Matric Certificate) then they
should get the name spellings corrected in their
SSC (Matric Certificate) and submit an attested
copy of revised certificate to their respective
ICMAP centre for necessary correction in the Institute’s
record / database.

CBR has appointed 30 Cost and Management Accountants
and Firms of Cost and Management Accountants as Auditors
for conducting special audit of the records of registered
persons. The audit assignment will be given to them
by the respective Collectorate from time to time. In
this connection, SRO 539(I)/2006 dated 5th June, 2006
has been issued by CBR.
