Award of Special Merit Certificates to Students at Lahore

In conjunction with the above proceedings, merit certificates were also awarded to those students of Lahore Campus
who secured first position in a subject in the first attempt with the highest marks but not less than 70% marks among
the examinees appearing in that examination. Mr. Muhammad Yasin, Honorary Treasurer, ICMA Pakistan gave away the
certificates of merit to Mr. Malik Abdullah (Reg. No. 20190814) and Mr. Haseeb Ali Akbar (Reg. No. 20170228). A cash
prize of Rs. 10,000 was also awarded to Mr. Malik Abdullah. In the end Mr. Awais Yasin, FCMA presented the vote of
thanks. A large number of members, students, faculty and others attended the ceremony.

Students’ Session on ‘Behavioral Competencies’

A Students’ Session on ‘Behavioral Competencies’ was organized by the Lahore Branch Council on January 08, 2020 at Lahore
Campus. Mr. Awais Yasin, Chairman LBC was the Chief Guest whereas Mr. Saif Ali Sheikh was the Guest Speaker. Mr. Hamid
Zahoor, Chairman, Students Affairs Committee presented the welcome address.
The speaker apprised the students that behavioral competencies are concerned with attributes such as knowledge, technical
know-how, communication and listening skills, teamwork, personal drive, compliance with leadership, behavior and etiquettes
etc. These capabilities contribute to development of an individual for success in interviews and bigger roles in organizations.

Winter CMA Festival at Islamabad Campus

The Students committee of Islamabad Branch Council (IBC) organized a Winter CMA Festival on January 04, 2020 at
Islamabad Campus. Mr. Shehzad Ahmed Malik, Honorary Secretary was the chief guest, who gave a brief about the
contribution of the students in making this event a success. Mr. Adil Amin, Chairman IBC and Mr. Zakir Hussain Satti,
Director Islamabad Campus were also present on the occasion.
A memorable event full of entertainment, music, fun and the lovely eye-catching food stalls amidst bonfire was solely
held with great enthusiasm and efforts of students. They actively participated in all its activities from decorating to
making stalls, lighting, illuminating, music and making all the arrangements of stalls and event to the level of perfection
from dawn till dusk.
