Presentation skills-Key to success in professional life

Presentation skills are key to success in professional life. Students who are associated with an
institute represent its name to external people. As we are future CMAs so we may have tremendous
opportunities around the globe. We may encounter many opportunities and so threats but with
confidence and right skill sets we can ace in professional life. The more we present ourselves the
more we gain confidence.

In this respect, ICMA Pakistan arranged a presentation competition at campus and national level

Many students from Faisalabad campus participated in presentation competition undoubtedly
presented well. Their presentations were based on different topics and they raised different issues. They let the
audience know about their topics in an effective way and the reflection of their hard work was quite visible. Moreover,
they let the audience to ask questions during and after presentation. As everyone who participated was brilliantly
presented but only two participants were given chance to present at national level which was held at Head Office.

We, as students, encourage this kind of initiative as presentation skills are important because they help the presenter
to communicate complex information in a simple and interesting way to keep the audience engaged and also to share
thoughts and feelings effectively and to develop self-confidence.

We are looking forward for more competitions like this in future. A well-crafted presenter also demonstrates
professionalism and helps to reinforce ICMA’s corporate image.

Students Gala & Bonfire Night at Faisalabad

The students Affair Committee of Faisalabad Branch Council (FBC) organized a “Students Gala and
Bonfire Night” on January 20, 2020 at Serena Hotel Faisalabad. It was a prestigious event enlightened
by the presence of Chairman Branch Council Shahid Irshad Sb., Secretary FBC and Students Affair
Committee Mr. Tanvir Sajid, Joint Director ICMA Faisalabad Campus Mr. Ayaz Mustafa, faculty staff and
students.

By: Rida Sabir I’m thankful to all leading personalities from Head Office including President ICMA Pakistan Mr. Zia-ul-
(Faisalabad) Mustafa, Vice president Abdul Wasey Khan and all other honorable management staff members. On
Reg # 20170683 the behalf of students, faculty, staff and administration at ICMAP Faisalabad campus, I’m also grateful
to Mr. Tanveer Sajid, Mr. Ayaz Mustafa and all branch council members for promoting and conducting such a successful
event after 2014. This shows the impact and the magnitude of the recent changes.
Event started with the name of ALLAH and recitation of Holy Quran followed by welcome address from Mr. Tanvir Sajid.
Chairman Branch Council, Mr. Shahid Irshad also shared his thoughts of wisdom with students.
Overall, the event was full of fun. All the students actively participated in co-extra-curricular activities like poetry, singing
and different skits. Senior students also shared their relevant experience with new comers in order to continue their
professional studies and career.
